Please be aware that another car on the estate was broken into. This was during the early hours of yesterday morning (29th September 2021).
Once again the culprit was captured on our CCTV system and the footage is being made available to the relevant people. The video shows inspecting cars in the southeastern carport, he opens a door to one car and thoroughly searches it, before breaking into another car.
Over the past month there have been a number of break ins to cars parked along Aldwick Felds. One thing that residents can do to help discourage the thief is to provide less of an enticement to enter the estate. If you do keep personal items in your vehicles, please try to keep them hidden from view. Even if the item is of no real value, a thief may be tempted to smash a window to investigate further. If possible, I would recommend not leaving anything of value in your vehicle overnight.
